Right now I can't host unfortunately because I am in the last phase of my master's thesis, and then wrapping up my things an moving. Over the summer, I will be travelling myself. Afterwards, I hope to find a nice place to live where I can host again. (:

I just finished my Master's program in Norrköping, Sweden, but am actually from Bavaria, Germany. When I am not busy with university, I love to travel a lot and go on adventures. And if thats not possible: Find the extraordinary in everyday life!

Besides that, I consider myself pretty easy-going and most of the time also fun to be around. I am the kind of person that gets really obsessed with things: books, movies, the planning of a trip, etc. Then I just suck in whatever I can find about my current obsession. So when I travel, I am actually kind of easy to impress. If youre hosting me, be prepared to get asked a lot of questions since sometimes I just want to know everything about anything - just tell me to shut up if its going too far. ;D

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I think its fun to meet people and get to know them at a deeper level by actually getting a look into their homes and lives. Also, its a great opportunity to help people on their travels and be helped. Its just way more exciting than staying in hotels! I think people say a lot more about the region than anything else. What do landmarks really tell you about a country? I think its people, the stories they have to tell, their experiences and views on life are so much more interesting and make your trip richer than any museum could. If youve been to a place but didnt get to know its people, you havent been there at all.

Intereses

I like a lot of things. I enjoy especially meeting all kinds of people and travelling. Also like to go out to dance, listen to music, and I read a lot.

After school I spent a year in Peru volunteering which really impressed me. Now I am studying, also learning about cultures and Latin America which I have been obsessed with ever since. Id love to share some and meet up with other Latin lovers. ;D

Música, películas y libros

I listen to lots of different stuff, but especially like to listen and dance to Reaggueton. I also listen to music I wont admit I listen to. Some people insist on turning on the radio when theyre in my car, some will ask me to pass them some music afterwards.

I read all kinds of stuff. Good fantasy and exciting historic novels are top on my list. Everything out of the ordinary catches my attention.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Walked through the tunnels of an ancient fortress in Cartagena in absolute darkness with the water up to my chin and saw the hybrid of a scorpion and a spider there. :O

Also had the best fun ever attending a huge pillow fight in NYC!

I know how to do the cup song. So if you dont, I can teach you - if you do, maybe we can try to sing it in two voices?
Of course always up to teaching some German, learning other languages (I love languages), learning about your culture and telling about mine.
Sharing travel stories is also always interesting.
