ABOUT ME

I'm Mike, from Nottingham, England. I've just finished an undergraduate degree in Biology, but have no idea where I'm headed right now.

Aside from finding an actual direction in life, I'm an aspiring rapper and though this is a ridiculous dream, you can hear some of mine and my mates' stuff here:

Hopefully our album will be finished by Christmas this year. Once that's done I can return to looking for a job in the agricultural industry.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed across the US, but have yet to host. Hopefully once I have my own place and am more settled I can begin to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed across America with two of my mates two years ago and I don't think I'll have an experience like it. Everyone we met was fantastic.

Intereses

I enjoy writing and regularly wrote columns for my university newspaper. I currently play golf and I used to play both rugby and hockey. I also enjoy kayaking, hiking and, of course, travelling.

My main interest is music. Besides rapping I play the piano, the cello and the guitar and have been a member of a number of orchestras and choirs throughout my life.

I listen to mostly everything. At the moment, I'm really into hip-hop, but I'm sure I'll move into another genre soon enough.

I enjoy reading pretty much anything, especially non-fiction related to the sciences or economics.

Watch too many films, but not horror. I'm a massive wethead.

I've done alot of amazing things, and I can't think of many which stand out off the top of my head. In reality I probably lead a fairly dull life.
