My name is Muhammed but I like the nickname Michael you can call me both. I studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Istanbul but now I’m an English teacher in Vietnam. I want to visit all the countries in the world. I'm interested in history and languages. I am collecting books of “lê petit prince” from each country that I visit in its language. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If a city that you're in it, is strange to you, only a friend can make that city closer and warmer for you. If you don't have any friend in a foreign city, that city cannot make you happy and there cannot be any joy and fun. That is my belief and because of that I'm here to find new friends in the cities I'll travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Kurdish&Iranian musics are my favorites but I also listen to other ethnic and folk musics from all over the world. I love classical music! Celtic music, especially Loreena McKennitt has a special place in my playlist. I also listen to Nordic Music recently and I like it. Especially Faroese, Icelandic and Sami folk songs interest me.

I like Iran Cinema, French comedy, Si-Fi, Drama, And Juliett Binoche's movies . Also we can talk about Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Game of Thrones for hours :)

I love literature: novels and poetry. My favorite book is Le Petit Prince🤴. Kafka is my favorite writer. Also Jack London, Charles Dickens, Tolstoy, Jules Verne, John Steinbeck, Oscar Wilde, Edgar A. Poe, George Orwell, Ernest Hemingway, Paulo Coelho, Rabindranath Tagore, Mehmed Uzun, Elif Shafak, Khalil Gibran and Rilke are the authors whom I enjoy reading.
