Overview
About Me
🌍 About Me:
Hey there! I'm an engineer with a passion for exploration and a heart that beats for travel. By profession, I'm a travel coordinator, trek lead, video editor, and a freelance social media marketer. On the side, I manage a YouTube channel. But that's not all—I'm adept at handling people and skilled in organizing events.
🌱 Passions:
Traveling and volunteering for NGOs are what I love to do the most.
I've backpacked across some parts of India and covered Bhutan two times. I've faced life-threatening situations during bird surveys and wildlife censuses, adding some thrilling stories to my adventures.
My love for volunteering has led me to contribute to various NGOs, organizing and participating in beach and mountain cleaning programs. I've also worked full-time for a forest-creating NGO. Right now teaching kids on the mountains of Uttarakhand.
As a seasoned Couchsurfer, I've hosted over 15 people from 8+ countries. We also created the Kochi Couchsurfing group, one of the top 3 active in India.
📚 Hobbies and Interests:
When not on the road, I dive into books—usually juggling a fiction novel and a self-help book simultaneously.
As a movie and series enthusiast, I've even worked in the Malayalam film industry. These days, you'll find me immersed in anime; currently on the One Piece journey.
I am really good at playing chess, football, and swimming.
Cooking - i tried, but failed miserably. I have a soft spot for farm life and am eager to learn more about it.
🎥 Creative Explorer:
Wherever I go, my camera follows. I love shooting videos, creating reels, and sharing my adventures on my Instagram pages and YouTube channel. It's not about fame; it's about sharing experiences and connecting with fellow explorers.
🌟 Life Philosophy:
I'm all about lifting spirit, embracing each day as an opportunity for learning and growth. I'm not on a specific quest; instead, I aim to immerse myself in diverse experiences, acquire new skills, and evolve into the best version of myself.
To me, life is a collection of experiences—a journey where I want to feel as much as I can while I'm alive, acknowledging that eventually, everyone faces the inevitable: Death. I'm not driven by a desire to leave a lasting legacy or imprint on the world. Instead, I want to learn, aspire to build meaningful human connections—people I can hold on to forever—face challenges, confront fears, discover my limits, be diverse, meet people, fall in love, face heartbreak, try, fail, and win at many things, make mistakes, and experience anything and everything.
Living life on my own terms, following my instincts, and approaching each moment with authenticity is my philosophy. And when the final chapter arrives, I aim to meet it with a smile on my face.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The thought of meeting a lot of people, talking to them, listening to them, and sharing each other's stories and cultures gives me such a chill. Every person in the world is really good at something than me; they know a lot about the world than me, they have experiences I can never dream of, and they possess the wisdom of a lifetime. Listening to all of these is what I want to do. There is more to this life than a human being can know and experience in one lifetime, so at least I can hear them.
