About Me
We are a backpacker couple from now on!!!
Actually, we are a teacher wife and mariner husband that's why we travel when we have holiday. As a mariner my husband's holidays are more often than mine. But, we decided to have our holiday times at the same time to travel more.
We have mostly traveled in Turkey and visited many different cities. We , mainly, save for traveling not to buy more and more. Until this time we have been at the wheel but now we changed our minds and thought to try something very new to us because in every journey we have tried different things .
We are going to travel as backpackers for the first time!
We like to meet with locals and learn cultures of the regions we visit. We have a limited budget and we want to experience how to live like a local. We have been different countries so far, as well but we have never experienced how it would be like to live like locals. That kind of traveling is gonna be first and a great experience in our lives.
Sharing, feeling the moments, learning any time are the meaning of life to us. According to our belief , broadmindedness is the key to any locked doors! In that case, traveling always broadens your mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are on Couchsurfing because it is the best to help travelers to find a safe place to stay . Also, we woul like to host other travelers in our home during the time when we are at home . We love sharing and learning experiences on the roads.
We have heard and seen many travelers staying with locals and having incredible moments with them thanks to CS. That is what we are looking for and CS is a very good way of reaching the people , staying with them and the best part is sharing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We are working couple and we spend most of the time at work. However, one of the most amazing thing we have done is to travel every corner of south ,central and west parts of Turkey just in 20 days. We were driving at night and slept for 4 hours a day but never missed the day time to see the places we planned to visit. It seems so tiring to the most of the people but it was amazing to see a different place every morning.
When we were in Macedonia , for the first time , we hitch hiked. We stayed with locals and learned interesting , stunning things about the country.
In Georgia we saw the Batumi Botanical Garden which is one of the biggest botanical gardens in the world.
We slept with the sweet sounds of nature in Ubud/Bali.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am (Bahar, Teacher wife) an English teacher so I can teach English and Turkish. Moreover, I am a very good cook. Well, if you want to learn Turkish cuisine I will have a great food list to cook.
Turkish culture is one of the richest culture you have ever heard so we can teach how to do Turkish Folk Dance, We also want to share our traditional food. We love to learn about the cultures, languages, music, dance and history of the countries that we have visited so far. That's why , we are looking forward to learning , experiencing anything about the countries that we are going to visit in South America.
