About Me

*Our place is 5 minutes to the Strip and 10 to the airport, since we get this question a lot we decided to write it upfront. Check the home section for additional details!*

Hey mates and lads!

The name's Reyyan, but you would be guests could call me Rey. I'm a scriptwriter by profession who is now an entrepreneur in the application business with my brother Sahan.

If I was to describe myself to an audience as a cinema-loving, perfectionist scriptwriter, I guess I would roll with chill, easy-going and enthusiastic. I like to travel abroad a lot and love to hear about your adventures! I guess currently Japan and Thailand are on the top of my bucket list.

I've got two mottos in life: "Emotion in Motion" and; "Fail Harder, Fail Better". The first one is about living my crazy life to the fullest by setting my emotions free to seep to the very edges of it. The latter is about not being afraid to fail in any bold and crazy decision I take. Definitely not a comfort-zone lover 😄

STUFF I LIKE
+ I am currently really into Japanese and South Korean cultures. So if you have been to one of the countries or better, if you are originally from Japan or South Korea, I would definitely like to have a chat about it!

STUFF I LOVE
+ Movies. Be it Tarantino, De Niro, Scorsese or Pacino. Just open up the subject and I'll go like yippee ki-yay!

STUFF I WILL WORSHIP YOU FOR
+ Cooking something from your own cuisine. I swear I will be your personal caretaker for an hour. Yes, you heard right. One. Full. Hour.
+ If you are a great party lover, dancer, chiller; than you and I my friend, are on the same boat!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looks fun mate, and you know what? I absolutely love to have a ton of fun!

Alright, aside that cheesy factor, I really like meeting different people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Especially as a scriptwriter, the crazier and more unique the person whom I meet is, the greater the pleasure of meeting them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m a huge techno fan! If raving’s your thing we’d get along 😄 Epic and classics are the choice for meditative synergy. However, everything in the right mood is a goer for me.

Well, I'm a kind of person whose lists for these sort of things change everyday. However, whilst writing this I will give you my current top 3 songs, movies and books.

Music
+ "Eternal Youth" - RUDE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhHGDOgjie4
+ "You Need Me, I Don't Need You" - Ed Sheeran
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXvzzTICvJs
+ Ellens Gesang III, D. 839, Op. 52, No. 6 "Ave Maria" - Franz Schubert:
Even though I just said lists change in my mind, this is gotta be the absolute best track for me- ever.

Movies
+ Pulp Fiction (1994) - Quentin "Bloody" Tarantino
+ Oldeuboi (2003) - Park Chan-wook

Books
+ Shibumi (1979) - Rodney William Whitaker aka Trevanian

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

+ I was born. And it was magnificent.
+ Adopted the cutest Rottweiler puppy. He’s ~6 years old now- but it still is a puppy in my eyes.
+ Wrote this profile for you to read.

It said one thing didn't it? Who cares, rules are there to be broken. Live a little.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, this part as I would guess is the part where, as a character that may or may not have a character, someone tells about what they can offer, demand or would like to share. Cool. Let's get going:

Teach
+ Scriptwriting or any type of creative writing in general;
+ Windsurfing;
+ Sailing; if the weather is suitable and you have time we can go for a ride,
+ Cooking; be it Turkish, French or any cuisine, I just love to cook,

Learn
+ Scriptwriting; there is always more room for learning ;)
+ Languages; I am also a translator and would love to catch a couple of phrases from your culture. Currently learning Japanese and Spanish;
+ Crazy, unique travelling and life experiences; this is the bit I most like and want to know about you,

Share
+ Good vibes only!
+ Best party venues :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m a little crazy travelling scriptwriter so I have loads of good stories that I would love to share with you. Just bring up the subject while we are chilling 😄

Me and my brother are also entrepreneurs in the application business, and I would like to teach, talk, learn anything related to the business.

If we are available, we can hang-out with you to show you some local secrets, parties, venues!

Finally, if timeframes suit I am a great cooker and I love to prepare some amazing breakfasts. Turkish, French, Japanese or anything you desire as long as I have the right ingredients.
