I am funny and quirky. I love to make people laugh; also, I love to talk about real issues, there are always so many things happening in the world-past and present. I like to observe the environment and explore; I ask lots of questions. I am a little shy, and I like to listen before I talk.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met great friendly people who have opened their homes and shared their knowledge. I hope to add many experiences soon. I have heard about it through friends who all had wonderful tales to tell. I love that you can find a community no matter where you are.

Interests

I am intersted in people, cultures, and travel. I love to experience places through good genuine conversations, as well as food. I also love to use sailing and boats as a major form of transportation when possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading "Salt: A World History" George Bernard Shaw, Dorothy Parker, Hemingway, Kerouac-I may have read "On the Road" and been way influenced by it, Charles Pollack, Tom Robbins,I love reading reference books, the dictionary and anything with a map. I have been known to fall asleep reading cookbooks to dream about things to create.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am beginning to write which has always been a dream of mine. I hope to meet people who are interested and passionate about describing their experiences with pen and paper.
