ABOUT ME

My name is Ian, but most of my friends just call me Mullins. Born in Ireland but raised in Australia to the tune of sunshine, beaches and BBQ's.

Spent the majority of my childhood running around the streets of perth on my bike and skateboard, going to the beach and generally trying to relax as much as possible. I have a great love for music, reading, travelling and good conversation with people with varied outlooks and contrasting experiences. Anything that helps broaden my own outlook on life, the world and the people on it.

After high school I went to university and studied environmental science. In between study breaks i tried my best to slip in some travel (managed parts of Canada, south-east asia and the east coast of Australia). Clearly this wasn't a sufficient amount travel so I quit my job and packed the bag.

Im a pretty relaxed guy with a fun personality. I prefer to laugh about problems then become a downer and love meeting people who have a similar ethos. As far as religious beliefs go I dont really have any. Just try to be a good person and treat other people the way I expect to be treated. Politically I'm not really active but tend to swing left on most issues that do catch my attention.

A few people told me about this organisation and I was intrigued by the idea so here I am signed up and ready to meet some cool people. Maybe I might just hit you up for a couch :).

At the moment Im just interested couch surfing while I travel through South America.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Right now I am completely unexperienced with couch surfer but hopefully that will change soon enough!! A few friends first told me about it some years ago and I have heard little bits ever since. Thought it would be cool to give it a go now.
