Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If the timing is right, I'm happy to lend someone my couch for the night. The same applies to showing someone around LA.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was working on a British television show that filmed here in LA, a girl from Vancouver just wandered up to us on the beach and asked what we were doing. I told her, we got to talking and hung out later that night. She needed a place to stay, so she stayed on my couch for the night. A few weeks later, she was passing back through (she'd gone across the US) and needed to stop again. I was more than glad. It was my first experience opening my home to a complete stranger. It was a good experience, and I'd like to have more like it.

Interests

comedy, theatre, exploring, subways, history, politics, the United Kingdom, improv, pinball machines, hanging out, rocking out.

Standing at Omaha Beach and understanding the vastness of D-Day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about how to get around Los Angeles (and Boston, and North Carolina for that matter). I can make balloon animals. I'm a decent writer. I'm a good improv performer and I have a good knowledge of alternative comedy. I know a lot about and am very interested in American history.

Right now, I want to learn all about California and the people that live here. Especially you kids up north.
