About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See mountains.

ABOUT ME

I am French Canadian living in Montreal, Canada. I wish to become a philosophy professor because I love teaching, but mainly because I want to remain a student all my life. I am curious, and can't get enough of learning. I am pretty enthusiastic person, usually smiling and mostly joyful. I love making others laugh, but I prefer making them smile!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that living one's life is the most important thing. That might seem trivial, but it is so easy to forget it. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only had one experience yet, in NYC so I'm still not sure if it was a normal one or not.

Interests

I am a big fan of camping and trekking, especially in the mountains. I love mountains! I'm in love with my bicycle too, although I suspect her to have an affair with my air pump. I'm also interested in science, especially biology and cognitive science. I love looking through the airplane window when flying (from the inside of the plane I mean).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Baraka, Being John Malkovich (most of Spike Jonze stuff), the first Alien movie, and Dune!
I think the Monty Python to be the funniest thing ever oh and I recently discovered Bill Hicks (a bit late I know)I think he was hilarious.
I read a lot for school, so I don't relax much by reading.
There is no specific type of music that I prefer, but I do have some artists/groups that I like a lot. I am a big fan of LCD Soundsystem, Mr. Bungle, the Beach Boys, and Philip Glass.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 21, I left home on my bicycle and traveled through the Appalachians down to North Carolina. The amazing thing is that I can't remember why.

Countries I’ve Visited
