I'm a recently graduated marine biologist, working on a whale watching ship in Iceland! Aside from liking things in the water, I love traveling and adventures (especially spontaneous ones!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Seems like a great way to really experience a destination, as well as getting to meet like-minded people :)
I haven't had the chance to be couch surfing yet, but I've hosted a few surfers at home before, and I've met up with some on different trips.

Interests

I love diving, sailing, swimming... basically anything that has to do with the water. And traveling, of course, but isn't that why we're all on couchsurfing?

Movies: as long as its not scary...
Music: almost anything, it just depends on my mood
Books: Science fiction is probably my favorite genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably seeing the northern lights explode in the sky like a giant jellyfish has probably been one of the coolest things I've seen. Other than that, climbing up a volcano in Bali to see the sunrise, or swimming with a bunch of Filipinos at the local baths, being the only tourists and ending up with a bunch of new friends by the end of the day!
