ABOUT ME

I enjoy the the little things in life. Things like listening to a rain storm outside my window, hiking a mountain trail to enjoy serene beauty of natures silence (or lack of man made noise), I enjoy driving on the open road with a good friend to talk to, and walking barefoot feeling the grass between my toes, just to name a few.

PHILOSOPHY

Your happiness is most important in life. Do what makes you happy!

Unhappiness comes from wanting what you don't have and not appreciating what you do have. Appreciate the things you have in life and now that others are less fortunate.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try my best to host or at least show people around but few requests have matched up. Mainly I think it was due to school and not having enough time to get home (art majors spend a lot of time at school) or that I was rarely in town when people would request a couch (my major and my desires had me traveling). But now I'm out of school and in a major metro area so hopefully I can be of more help to travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed twice, once in Chicago and twice in Memphis. In Chicago the girls we stayed with were amazing and really nice. We stayed up one night and smoked hooka and then went to their bar the next night. In Memphis, I stayed with a man named Jerry Davidson, he's an awesome dude, loves biking, and playing music, also a good beer. We went to a local pizza shop and his favorite bar, it was a good time.

I've hosted once and Charlotte was the best surfer I could have asked for! I enjoyed talking with her and sharing stories of life.

Intereses

Art- I'm a sculptor so I love art! I love exhibits, I love creating, and more specifically I love hot molten metal! I participated in a lot of metal pours in college and it is still a huge passion of mine!

Traveling- I love driving I wish I had more time to just drive and stop where I feel like it. If I could pay of my student loan debt I think I might go nomad and just travel where I wanted, stopping just to meet new people, see the sights and make some money for necessities.

Moutains- I love Colorado, no running water in a one bedroom cabin!

Música, películas y libros

Give me something raunchy with good attitude, that's also got some soul and feeling. Nothing like losing yourself in a song, movie or book. Music wise I like Sublime, Tom Waits, Morphine, Pepper, The Bloodhoung Gang, Weezer, Johnny Cash, The White Stripes and many many more.

Movies, it's got to be, Fight Club, The Counte of Monte Cristo, Memento, Into the Wild, Choke, Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2, Inglorious Bastards, and many more.

Books, Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451, Catcher in the Rye, Harry Potter, etc
