Overview
About Me
Hi there,
I’m Muntathar (I know it would be hard to pronounce that). A general doctor from Baghdad, Iraq.
I try to have an interesting life by experiencing new things and seeing the beauty of the world as it is and making new friends from all over the world because I like to get to know different cultures and traditions and understand the places from the perspective of their people. It depends on the mood and if I can find a subject or not but I think in general I would be described as not very talkative but I try to be social as much as possible
You can find me on Instagram: muntatharsaad
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I like to get know people from different nationalities and make friends and I feel this is the best way to do so because what a better chance to know someone than to experience new things with them
Interests
Traveling of course is my no. 1 interest in life and I like to get to know different cultures, seeing new places and making friends from all over the world as I think this is what life about (to explore and make connections with other human beings). I’m fascinated by history too and like visiting historical places or hearing about their stories. I do also like watching movies as they also transfer you to this alternate reality and let you live with the characters and feel them

Music, Movies, and Books
It’s hard to limit the list of music and movies I like in this but maybe if you get to know me better you’ll know what I like but I have to say that I’m a big Marvel movies fan. And I’m not very much into reading books but I like buying them and how they look although I usually don’t have time or the desire to finish one
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
* Crossed the most dangerous bridge in the world in Hunza Pakistan
* Went on a trip to Fairy Meadows passing by the second most dangerous road in the world and doing hiking and trekking in the for more than 8 hours to reach the base camp of Nanga Purbat mountain (killer mountain, the 9th highest mountain on Earth)
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to share the things that I know with others so probably I can give some info about Iraq history, culture and traditions, maybe I can even share few medical advices with you if you’re interested since it’s my field and for those who are interested in the Arabic Language I can help you with that gladly as I like learning languages a lot too but I really didn’t have time to practice that
