ABOUT ME

My name is Andrew (Drew)
I've only seen a sliver of this world and I want to explore and adventure. I love hosting people and find that traveling is really about who you meet along the way and the experiences you share. The best way to see any new place is with a local!

I'm a singer in a band called Rocky Mountain Rebel Music from Victoria BC. We play lots of shows, go on tour, and record our own CD's. I guess you could say that I'm trying to "make it" as a musician. (Whatever that means)

I am also a high school substitute teacher.

I lived in a Van touring around Australia for 6 months.
I've road tripped all over Canada with my band.
I lived in Beijing China teaching for 6 months.
I learned to scuba dive in Southern Thailand.
I want to see MORE!!!

I've got space at my place and know all about the real Victoria that isn't on the tourist route; the best places to hike, the secret beaches and waterfalls, where the locals go for live music, the things you shouldn't miss and the things you can bypass.
I'd love to host and would love to be hosted as I explore.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although not through this website, I have couchsurfed all over Canada with my band and have a deep respect for hosts. I am considerate and kind with a positive attitude and open mind.
