About Me

Coordinator for European educational projects, I like meeting new people, speaking foreign languages, showing my city around, going out for drinks and parties, discovering new places with nice and outgoing people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now that I'm living alone in Brussels again, having couchsurfers at home is a great opportunity to do something different and meet people from everywhere around the world. In addition, when travelling abroad, I love meeting locals and visiting places tourists don't usually see.

Interests

I can be interested in a lot of things and always looking for new interests. I love music (especially live music), food (even though I don't cook), drinks, movies, exhibitions, reading, parties, just walking around, spending time in the countryside (where I come from), travelling, ...

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of music styles and often go to music festivals and concerts but really, what I listen to everyday would be qualified as pop / rock. Also a fan of Belgian bands.
A movie I really appreciated recently is The Secret Life of Walter Mitty but I couldn't say there is one movie I really prefer. I really like horror movies in the evening at home and movies with natural disasters or great landscapes.
Regarding Literature, I'm a huge fan of Paul Auster and Julian Barnes. I also love books with a lot of humour.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learnt how to drive a four-wheel car and looking forward to training my skill in Iceland :)
Already drove on several of the most beautiful roads in the world.
Was lucky enough to saw some of the last wild reindeers in Norway.
Celebrated (and danced) Midsummer in Latvia.
Climbed and camped on top of the Baru volcano.
Climbed Adam's Peak in Sri Lanka to watch sunset.
Ran on the beach in Malibu wearing a read swimsuit. ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to knit if you can teach me how to cook ;) If you have a dog at home, don't hesitate to ask me for advice as I've been a dog trainer for several years. I have a good guitar at home but I don't know how to play it, so if you are a guitar player, I'd be delighted to have a few lessons. I'm interested in visual arts but don't know much about it so if you want to go and visit museums or exhibitions, I might be interested in joining you and learn a thing or two.

Looking forward to sharing my knowledge about Brussels and about Belgium.
