Music, Movies, and Books

I like a little bit of everything in music. Some of my favorite artists are Shreya Ghosal, Dessa, Phildel, Marina and the Diamonds, Lizzo, Anúna, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Eric Whitacre, and Prince

My top three movies are all The Lord of the Rings, but I also love The Lion in Winter, Princess Mononoke, Stardust, Jodhaa Akbar, Ferris Beuller, and The Princess Bride, and Big Fish

My favorite book is also The Lord of the Rings, but I love other books by Tolkien, and Neil Gaiman, Jim Butcher, Patricia McKillip, Stephen Pinker, Douglas Adams, and Terry Pratchett

I like my fantasy escapes, clearly

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scary story: ask me about the time I got my face caught in a Roman death mask!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to talk and teach about culture, especially ancient culture. It's my job, and I love my job.

I would love to learn about you and your history. I'm currently learning Turkish, and how to cook.

I love sharing stories, especially travel stories and scar stories. Almost everyone has a scar story.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories and my pretty decent cooking skills.
