About Me
Hello everyone!
I am Murilo and I'm brazilian. I'm from de countryside of São Paulo, but currently living in Sergipe, due to medical school, 2000km from my hometown. It's being an truly adventure, I'm always exploring new places and meeting new people.
I have done a exchange program in the US during high school, where I played waterpolo. And it was there, when I was by mylself in a new country, that I realized how much I loved to travel, so I decided never stop doing it!
A little bit more about me: my favorite area in medicine is psychiatry; I'm sagittarius; I practice yoga and swimming; I love animals, specially horses, my mare Gabriela is the best!
One of my hobbies is to bake breads, having my friends around and cook for them it's my favorite thing. I am also a fan of small cafés, different beers and new foods .
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that traveling is much more about people than places. If it weren't for people, places could be seen directly on the internet.
Thinking about that, couchsurfing is the best way to truly immerse yourself in a local's lifestyle. It goes beyond of only having a place to stay, it means having a company that undestands the place, that knows, for example, that the best restaurant it's not always the most known and famous, that maybe there is small place owned by an old man full of life histories and good food that's not target by tourists, but that only a local would know!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two experiences that were truly adventures and I'd like to do again were:
- a roadtrip of 2500km alone through Brazil;
- a horsetrip alone, only me and two horses, for 5 days on cowntry roads, with nothing planned.
