Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i just signed up, so i haven't done much yet. i'd like to be a more active member by helping people find their way around my city... unfortunately, i can't host anyone at present as i'm living with my parents, but would like to be able to host in the future.

Interests

reading - i'm a boring reader, so most of the things that i read are either technical (linguistics, teaching methodology...) or news.

music - i have a varied taste and it's difficult to label it (but i do have issues with the word "eclectic" :P). most of what i listen to is indie if that should make things any clearer...

art - i like surfing the web for new artists, images, design, fashion... inspirational sources of creativity in general

languages - i studied english at college and have a keen interest in languages. i studied both french and german for a semester, but can't speak either of them unfortunately. and i'm more than willing to help all gringos out there with portuguese!
