About Me

my current mission is exploring new places, meeting interesting and fun people, finding my purpose in life...

i am usually very open and positive, i love to try new things and get inspired by places and stories and people.
i like unusual encounters and i love how my heart beats in those vivid moments when you really connect to someone but at the same time feel so vastly free and independent. sitting in cafés for hours (if there is good cake) enjoying the sun is heaven. or dancing. or bike trips.

when travelling i am easily fascinated by landscapes and people. i guess i am a fairly uncomplicated human being even though i sometimes need a minute or so to open up to people, but that's mostly a tiny bit of insecurity which can be cured with a smile :)

what else? for the last 17 years i have been a vegetarian. i'm a sociologist and "everyday life- anthropologist". i grew up in berlin so the city is my natural habitat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

last year i went to paris with a friend and stayed with my first couchsurfing host. we partly hitchhiked there and the whole trip was a blast, mainly because i got to meet so many great people - and because i was amazed about how positive and open and caring people really were to us, even though we were complete strangers.

also, i love to have people over, i even bought a brand new couch :)

Interests

i do yoga, play the ukulele and i sing in a large choir in my hometown. we sing a capella, mostly current rock and pop songs and i love it!
i like to read a lot, even sociology stuff, for fun!
i like co-counselling and talking about emotions and experiences.
you may easily engage me in a conversation about relationships or polyamory or food or "gemeinwohl-ökonomie" (economy for the common good) or maybe even renewable energy. i love to get to know your perspectives!
