My name is Moshe Tov. I live in Safed in the Galilee in northern Israel where I founded and help run the multi-cultural Maqamat Music Center and professional school for Middle Eastern music. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel close to the street and in touch with local energies. Prefer real connections to tourist sites. Very flexible comfort zone. Appreciate personal exchange and relationships over strictly financial transactions, but happy to contribute generously where covering costs or paying for services is merited and honorable. Very happy to meet travelers in my local area, at least to hang out and maybe to host. I find that seemingly random connections from open self-organizing networks can often be astoundingly synchronous and life-affirming. Somehow with open eyes and hearts we meet the people we need to meet.
