ABOUT ME

I am a very passionate person who loves enjoying life, meeting new people, learning about everything that exists, expressing myself through written language, through my voice and my body and engaging in new adventures and experiences. I am also very spiritual and I believe that everyone has a certain energy, an aura that you can feel just by standing in the same room and that is totally contagious, that's why I always try to keep my energy positive! The one thing I love the most is diversity, I always try to share with others my perspective on life and learn about theirs. I strongly believe that difference should bring us together rather than apart.

I believe in following our instincts, our hearts and our souls, I believe in doing what we love the most, I believe in learning and growing together, everyday, with every action and every word, I believe in noise and silence, in meditation, in challenging our bodies and developing our minds, in helping each other, in constant change, in hope. I believe in the power of nature, and the power within every creature to make this Universe better and better...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate through my love for my country and my city and the way I try to spread it to my visitors, through the way I share knowledge and good times, through the way I use art and music to connect with others and to make people see that we are all one.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted several visitors both in Puerto Rico and San Francisco! I love showing people around, telling them about customs, teaching them Spanish or how to dance. The way people are amazed by my country always renews my love and pride for this beautiful Island. I have a similar experience in my new home, San Francisco, sharing the city with new friends makes me feel like a true San Francisco local! I have also been hosted by many kind and fun loving people and good CS friends in California, Cancun, London, Barcelona, Vicenza, Zurich, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Malmo, and Goteborg! All of these experiences have been unique and unforgettable Every person I've met has taught me something and has made me feel welcomed and appreciated and I have try my hardest to reciprocate. Thanks to all my visitors and host for such wonderful experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books

As for movies I love comedies, fantasies, epic stories, movies based on real life, movies based on books, and Non-Hollywood films. In music I love latin rock, like Cafe Tacuba!!!, Aterciopelados, Autenticos Decadentes, Fabulosos, Julieta Venegas, Circo, Manu Chao, reggae roots, classical music, blues, bluegrass, swing, rumba, bata, jazz, salsa, bomba, plena and all Puerto Rican music (except for reggeaton), bossa nova, batucada, classic rock (The Beatles!!!!!!!, Bob Dylan, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, The Monkees, The Kinks, Jefferson Airplane, The Velvet Underground, Nico, The Who....), of Montreal, Animal Collective, all African based music and World Music compilations like Putumayo. As for books I'll only mention some of my favorite books and writers because any other way I would never finish this section. I am very much like a child in this sense. Everything amazes and excites me. I've seen huge mountains, beautiful rivers, endless seas, overwhelming sunsets, psychedelic rainbows, breathtaking moons, the greatest friends, the most beautiful people, the most amazing books, the most delicious rhythms, hallucinating art...

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to be able to teach others everything I know from dancing to literature, from science to linguistics and everything in between. Of course this has to be mutual, I want to learn everything that others have to share.
