ABOUT ME

My life is generally consumed with work, choir, learning new things, drinking coffee, singing in public, and giving really great hugs.

As a surfer/traveler/explorer, I am respectful of all cultures and hope to learn more about people who come from a different background than me. I'm a very relaxed, easy going person who can fit in well with almost anyone.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone has a story to tell, a rich cultural context for who they are, what they believe, and how they live their lives. The question is... Are you willing to listen without judgement and value them as equal beings on this planet?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently traveled around Europe and had a great time surfing and building friendships in far-away lands. Now that I am "settled" back in the States, I would like to open up my home for surfers as well. And of course I still have a travel bug itching to get me out of town for new adventures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted many visitors (not affiliated with this site), and have been a guest in many people's homes. I love the idea of meeting new people and having a genuine cultural exchange while sharing your home with someone and showing them around your city. Or even just having the satisfaction of helping someone travel and explore the world.
