About Me

CURRENT MISSION

New People, Good Conversation

ABOUT ME

I'm a mid-20s, house-trained male. I like to read stuff and go to things like plays and movies. I go to bed really early during the week because my job requires my full attention at hours during which only Europeans are awake. So it may not be fun for you to crash on my couch sunday-thursday. My place is nice with all the amenities of a typical apartment. I even have a toaster. I'm along the main bus route in Austin, but I'm pretty far north so a car is recommended unless you're ok with a 45 minute book-reading stretch. My complex can offer parking, which is surprisingly rare in Austin.

PHILOSOPHY

We can rest when we're dead. Do stuff now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I go to concerts, I like to row, and I club occasionally. Mostly I go to movies and do other vapid American things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've actually never couch-surfed. My time traversing across Europe was unfortunately in ignorance to couch surfing, but I remember that my favorite thing about hostels was meeting people. So come to Austin, crash here. Don't scratch my coffee table, please.

Interests

Historical Fiction, Economics, Bill Bryson, and Dr. Who. Rowing is fun, but sitting around and "chilling" isn't my cup of tea. Sorry.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm classically trained as a musician, so I may blast Mahler over my sound system. I also like trashy EuroPop, top 40s, and a few country songs. (shh....)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Similarly, I can't think of one life-altering moment to put here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have no idea what to put here.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
