ABOUT ME
Well I joined this site and neglected it for a long time. Since I moved to Portland I wanted to hop back on.
I am laid-back and always up for new adventures. In my adolescence, I had the opportunity to see a lot of this wide world-- something that changed me into who I am today. I haven't traveled much in the last few years but I am gearing up for some more wandering of the global variety.
When I turned 21, I picked up a guitar and it has brought me lots of enjoyment. I continue to learn it and other stringed instruments for pure fun.
PHILOSOPHY
The un-lived life is not worth examining. -- Sheldon Kopp
Only boring people get bored.
And it's all fun and games until someone ends up in a cone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
With an open mind and couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
For me Couchsurfing is a natural extension of the open lifestyle I've been living for years. Back in school, my family hosted several exchange students which was a great experience and broadened my interest in foreign cultures. My experiences at Summer camps where there were dozens of internationals from all corners of the world did the same. Before I was a member of this site, and I was a new resident of this city, I opened my couch to many international co-workers. Every moment I've had with the people I've met has been great. I love how everyone puts their best foot forward in this community and greets others with open arms. A true mission of mine in life is to surround myself with good people. This site has taught me to never underestimate the friendliness of a couch surfer with a big smile.

If we all shared food recipes and I got to create a CS cookbook that would be awesome.
