Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you come to Toulouse, the "Pink City", I will make you discover the beautiful streets. At 40 minutes from Toulouse you are in the countryside and you can find very beautiful medieval villages near Gaillac. At 1h in the south you are in the mountains, and 1h30 in the South-East you are in the beach!

If you play music, I will play guitar, piano, or sing with you or we'll go and see a band playing in a bar if it's the end of the week.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to discover live musicians through local scene rather than mass media.

In Toulouse, there is lot of opportunities to discover music and style from all over the world.
There is an important latine influence (spanish, south-america, caribbean styles) and there are often bands that are playing such good music in some bars or well-known "cafés culturels".
But we can also sometimes hear music of balkans, gypsy or klezmer music with virtuoso violinists or clarinetists...and all your body can't help but move and fill with enthusiasm ! :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping in a fisher room in Morroco.
Playing music in the restaurant car in a train.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can propose you a Ukulele lesson and a free bike tour of the city !

What I Can Share with Hosts

The question is not "where" you travel but "how" you travel.

For me, couchsurfing is not a "free hostel", is is important to first share some common interests and also to bring something for cooking or inviting someone for a drink, and some long and interesting discussions.

It is like an "auberge espagnol" : we find what everyone brings !
