Overview
About Me
I teach Sociology in NYC and travel as much as possible. In my spare time (ha, ha) I love to workout, cook, play board games, read speculative fiction or philosophy, and have picnics.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been couchsurfing since 2007. I love this website, I tell people all the time that it's the best thing on the internet. I've met lifelong friends and have been able to see the world on a grad student budget.
surfing:
I'm self-sufficient but love meeting new people so hanging out would be great if you have time. I love cooking for my hosts, going out, or teaching them some pilates!
hosting:
Currently have some living room floor or couch space in Queens, NYC. Weekends are best.

Music, Movies, and Books

books- Anything by Octavia Butler, Broken Earth Trilogy, The Bell Jar, The Feminine Mystique, Middlesex, Sociology journals...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking for three months has been the most amazing thing so far.
Jumping out of a plane was great but diving to the bottom of the ocean was better.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people... pilates stretches, anything they want to know about urban sociology!, how to make smoothies or cook something healthy and delicious
I want to learn more Sign Language and Spanish, getting better at knitting would be great!
