i'm a huge music fan. i worked for half a year for an indie record label in hamburg. now as a student in mainz, i work for the local campus radio station where i run once a week a music broadcast. i love to go to concerts and festivals. from time to time i do some band-interviews for our campus radio station or for indiestreber.de, a music blog.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i've been almost everywhere in germany, because i went twice on tour with the indie band the age of sound. so i know a lot of clubs and pubs if you're interested in that. i'm always interested in sharing informations about music and culture with people from abroad. the other way round i would like to get to know more of the world than just germany. ok, i was on holidays in a lot of countries. but most of the time it was with my school or with my parents. that's not the way i imagine travelling and getting to know cultures. i want to talk to people from the world...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i registered just a few days before my three week trip through the countries of eastern and central europe started. i didn't expected that much in regard to the short time that was left to contact couchsurfing host. however this site made it possible to meet so many great characters and persons during the three weeks that i travelled who i would have missed if not...

with all these positive memories in my mind i definitely want to give something back, so i'll try my best to meet as many travellers as possible in mainz...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i think the best experience that i made so far, was doing an exchange for half a year in grenoble, in the french alps. by living there, i got to know much more of the people, the culture, the landscape and the country than in all of my holidays before...
