About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life and take it one day at a time. : )
ABOUT ME
I am a student at the Yale University in New Haven, CT. I, as evidenced in my photos, study the pipe organ, but I play all kinds of keyboards, both modern and historical. My second area of study in my undergrad was German language, but now at Yale I have been studying French for one year. Of course, German, French, and music mix really well! I love traveling and I have done quite a bit in the States, but I foresee more European travel in the future. I am always smiling or laughing and enjoying life! I look forward to making some CouchSurfing friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This summer I will be in Europe and look forward to sharing wonderful moments with my new couchsurfing friends. I am getting an apartment soon, so my hosting days are up and coming!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't had any experiences yet, so check back in a while.
Interests
Since I am a musician, I spend a lot of my time thinking about, listening to and pondering music. I enjoy all kinds of arts from culinary to photography. I also like to see movies, but not just the kind that are shown in most cinemas. Favorites of mine include a wide spectrum, from the somewhat obscure like Letztes aus der DaDaeR (Jörg Foth) to the famous Silence of the Lambs. I enjoy great food and drink, and I love to cook when I am back at home.

Music, Movies, and Books
Being a professional musician, I love a lot of music! Outside of "classical" music, I enjoy 80's music and current popular music. I have some favorite movies including Silence of the Lambs, Once Upon a Time in America and the Wizard of Oz. I also like British comedy like Little Britain, Come Fly with Me and the Catherine Tate Show. I enjoy reading mostly non fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, Summer 2006
Walking across the Golden Gate Bridge in a cloud of fog, Summer 2011

Teach, Learn, Share
Everybody has something to teach you and you never know what that thing may be until you cross that cultural and/or social boundary. Last summer, I learned so much from all of my hosts all around the country. I look forward to what the future may bring.
