ABOUT ME

I am outgoing person that talk a lot and love to show people around Oslo. I know a lot about the towns history and have been living here for almost 10 years now, so I know my way around. I currently work freelance as a translator of subtitles for tv and DVD and just finished my masters degree in cultural history. I play in a band (guitar/piano) and also make all kinds of cafts for sale. Sharing a flat with my boyfriend, but it's so tiny that we can't have any surfers. Hopefully in the future!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not yet, but some day soon I hope to surf my way over the USA from east to west.. :) Finally finished my studies, so will hopefully have more money for traveling now!

Movies: Fight Club, The Pianist, Stigmata, Blue, Amelie, Lord of the Rings.. Everything from blockbusters to strange indie
Music: Radiohead, Elliott Smith,tons of other stuff. Old and new, rock, pop, jazz, classical.. I LIVE for music and through music.
Books: Historical drama and biographical. Currently reading "Mr. Norell and Jonathan Strange". The Harry Potter books, Shakespeare...++

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Beeing a "buddy" to about 60 international students from all over the world together with my friend. Drinking tea with people from USA, Buthan, Mali and Germany at the same time :)

Seeing Rome for the first time from the hill above Trastevere and knowing that I was going to be staying in the beautiful place for 2,5 weeks... amazing.

Staying awake at Heathrow airport all night because we could not get an hotel room and talking to all the people that came to the airport from around the world during the night.
