Overview
About Me
My daily life in Istanbul usually monotonous actually. But I have a strong feeling that it's not a good way to live, so I'm trying to get every chance to get away from that routine. Music is a good way for me to do that and travelling could be another.
I believe it's always good to give a hand to a "stranger" and be in solidarity as individuals all around the world...
This summer I'm going to do an exchange in Ecuador for a month and after that I want to visit Peru, Bolivia and maybe Argentina.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Actually I was familiar with CS even before I joined as a user, my brother and also my flatmate Ersin, was using it for a while and we have been hosting some friends from CS, -they all were really nice people- for a while.
Nowadays I will probably be busy with school in most of the time, but I would like to meet new people by hosting them or just showing around as a local if I have enough free time.
Interests
Love every kind of music, to listen, share and play with my guitar, maybe try to sing but not very good at it :)
Like books, specially literature.
Not a big fan of any sport but I play tennis and trying to keep fit. Of course, meeting new people, cultures and places.

Music, Movies, and Books
Like to listen every kind of music but specially world music, country, rock/blues interests me recently.
Usually interested in Turkish literature poetry and novels, world literature i like to read from Jean-Paul Sartre, Dostoevsky, Amin Maalouf... Beside that i like to read biographies and history books if it's an interesting topic. And also I like to read on popular science topic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My brother Ersin and our close friend Osman and I have experienced an Interrail trip between Berlin and İstanbul. While we were passing through the cities in our route we made music on streets. It was amazing for me to share our amateur, humble music repertoire contained mostly folk songs from Anatolia and Balkans and to meet another musicians.
Teach, Learn, Share
I always tried to be open to every idea. I agree that Cs is a good place to explore how people live, think, talk etc. Although I would like to tell you about things that I know about my country and city, I can't say I'm a good storyteller but I can try to share about my stories, thoughts and I'm a good listener I suppose. :)

We can eat, drink, hanging out together, meet our cultures and share stories, ideas.
