I was born and raised in the city of Aleppo in Syria. I studied Cinema and Television in Eskişehir, Turkey. I spent 8 years working in the filmmaking industry in Istanbul before I decided it was time for a change. Now I work as a humanitarian worker for a local NGO in Mersin.

I like spending time in nature, exploring new places and meeting new people.

I am also an avid mushroom hunter, snorkeler and snowboarder.

Music: Classic rock (70s), House, Jazz, anything that sounds good to me...

Books: I do not read regularly, I like historical fantasy, post apocalyptic novels or scientific reference books with photos or illustrations. It is clear I'm not a huge reader :p

Movies: I love watching movies, some of the directors I like are Gus van Sant, Lars von Trier, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Yeşim Ustaoğlu, Reha Erdem, David Cronenberg, Roman Polanski, Jean luc Godard, Theo Angelopoulos, Stanley Kubrick, Lindsay Anderson, Michelangelo Antonioni, the list goes on...
