ABOUT ME
I am a mother of two little boys and one old Labrador retriever. I love to hike, camp, backpack, kayak, etc. and LOVE animals! My fiance Todd is a microbiologist and loves to ride his motorcycle whenever he gets the opportunity. We love to play outside and go to the local farmer's market, local restaurants, etc.

We both work for the University at the veterinary school and would be happy to show you around campus if you are interested.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and learn and don't let things get to you that you have no control over. Go with the flow and pay attention, or your best days will pass you by!

I've hosted a number of wonderful guests and look forward to continuing to host. I have used couchsurfing to travel in the past and hope to do more once the kids are a little bigger.

I love being outdoors, reading, art, photography, and living life to the fullest. I love animals and love to surround myself with them. The unconditional love of a pet is truly a gift!

Some favorites include Animal Vegetable Miracle, Food, inc., and The Onmivores Dilemma. Love Jodi Picoult novels, and many other authors. I love the blues, bluegrass, and good old fashioned rock and roll.

Backpacking through New Zealand was an amazing once in a lifetime experience.

I once did a four state in four days hiking challenge and hiked from PA through MD, WVA, and into Virginiaon the Appalachian Trail, it is about 50 miles and it was amazing! I have backpacked over 500 miles of the appalachian trail.
