Overview
About Me
Calm but social person from Nairobi who enjoys meaningful conversations, exploring new places on foot, and sharing simple home-cooked meals. I’m respectful, tidy, and independent, but I also like spending time with my hosts/guests when our schedules match
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me Couchsurfing is about exchange, not just a free bed. I want to meet open‑minded people, share my own culture, and hopefully make friends I can host in my country in the future
Interests
- chess
- poker
- hiking
- swiming
- clubing
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of reggae and Afrobeat, but I’m open to almost anything with a good vibe. I enjoy movies and series that are funny or thought‑provoking, especially dramas and documentaries about real life stories. I don’t read huge amounts, but I like short non‑fiction books and articles about psychology, travel and personal growth, and I’m always happy to exchange recommendations with hosts and guests
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done was leaving my comfort zone to travel solo for the first time. I stayed with strangers who became friends, learned to trust myself more, and realized how kind people can be around the world
Teach, Learn, Share
“I can teach a bit of my language, share stories about life in Kenya, and cook some simple dishes from home. I’d love to learn more about local culture, everyday life in your city, and practise any language you speak. I’m always happy to share music, good conversations, and help with small tasks at home while I’m staying with someone.”
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories about life in Kenya, teach a bit of Kiswahili/Sheng, and cook a simple Kenyan meal if we find the ingredients. I’m happy to help with small chores like dishes or tidying up, and I always respect house rules and personal space. Depending on your schedule, I’d love to share walks around the city, music, and good conversations
