ABOUT ME

I am a musician (I play trombone and sing) and a political activist. My roommate is also involved with radical politics, plays trombone, and is named Andrew. We listen to music near constantly, especially 60s/70s Jamaican music and Folk-Punk. We are Vegan, so we eat a lot of plants and will gladly share said plants with you.

PHILOSOPHY

That all beings naturally are of worth and naturally act in a manner that allows for sustained survival. The behavior that best leads to survival is mutual aid and not destructive competition.

Life is always of worth and no one life is more valuable than another, though the mass should not be damaged for the sake of the individual.

What causes hatred, violence, and other behaviors not conducive to sustained survival are the coercive hierarchies bent on inter-being domination.

Hence; capitalism robs, aid and equality liberates, democracy sustains us, and we must destroy all empires at all costs.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We believe in sharin' what you got, and right now we have, so we let people we meet who need a place to stay live with us as long as they need and share our food. Don't be surprised if you stay with us and there are one or two others already staying here. We don't turn people down if we can help it... It leads to things being a little cramped, but that's how we like it; who doesn't?
