Overview
About Me
I am an avid trekker and love to explore the outdoors. I run a small travel cafe in my hometown which is also doubles as our bed room in the night. I also work as a mountain guide in the Ladakh Himalayas in India. I am a museum geek and run two small museum myself. I love hanging out with friends but also enjoy being by myself. I am always up for experiencing new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mostly to find a free place to stay 😛
But I believe that seeing the place through the eyes of a local gives a very authentic experience. Plus you get to explore all the hidden gems which usually tourists dont get to see and experience!
Although I am new to couchsurfing but as someone who works in the travel space, I have hosted so many people from around the world and have made that many friends too. Here at couchsurfing I am looking to do just the same and show you a great time in Ladakh :)

Music, Movies, and Books
So many to list but my all time favourite book is Fountainhead and the movie would be Inglorious Bastards
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For the last two years, We have been working on a project to conserve the critically endangered Himalayan Brown Bears. Something that is very close to my heart.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to play the Bansuri (Indian bamboo flute) and some Ladakhi words that ll help you on your trip to Ladakh! Oh and I can cook dal, rice, chicken/mutton curry, and ofcourse my signature masala chai Indian style! I could also teach you some basics on outdoor living if you are interested.
What I Can Share with Hosts
You can use the kitchen, always open to tasting world cuisine. Crash on the couch or wherever you find space, blanket, quilt, wifi, bathroom, our cafe space to chill, play board games and make friends.
Day hikes, campouts with local friends.
