About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm 23 and a student in International Relations at the University of Groningen. I like to move around, in the last couple of years I've lived in Groningen, The Hague, Paris, London, and now Tirana. Hopefully, I will be able to continue this in the future, preferably whilst getting paid at the same time:) I travel light and like to go off the beaten track. Hightest mountain climbed: Acetenango volcano, Guatemala, 3880 m. Lowest valley reached: Noordoostpolder, Netherlands, -6,2 m.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not that much yet, but the experiences I have had have all been extremely positive. I've met some amazing, hugely interesting people already, and I can't wait to meet some more! I finally got a place in which I'm able to host, so I'm looking forward to welcoming surfers here in Tirana.

Music: Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Ryan Adams, Tom Waits, Beatles, Radiohead, Josh Ritter, Damien Rice, Ben Folds, Ben Harper, Johnny Cash, and lots more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing the pyramids of the El Mirador pyramid complex in the jungle of Tikal, Guatemala. Amazing place, with one of the biggest pyramids in the world, not just in Yucatan but in the entire world. Amazingly though, because its a 3-day hike just to get there, there's a good chance you're there completely by yourself.
