ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going and inexhaustible off-the-beaten-track traveler enjoying all the elements of new cultures combined with a photographic passion. Travelling is what life makes so special and refreshing; wonderful new cultures, new friends, beautiful nature, good food, etc. Couchsurfing is for me an excellent, economical and social way of traveling with the focus on meetings with locals, who can tell you more than you can discover on your own in weeks :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Everybody is welcome at my place and I will try to contribute to an awesome stay in my city, however, at the moment I am homeless which makes it complicated to host ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted once (Uganda) and surfed a couple of times. But CS is so much more: I met wonderful people, other cultures and learned a lot about these meetings! Especially the difference of these meetings is striking; it is always a surprise how it turns out. I visited tourism places together, went out in the night and sometimes the time was limited, where I would have loved to do more together!

I am Geographer and tourism expert, so primary interest is countries, cultures, their history, but also nature, sport, going out,etc.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music is really important in life for me. I love a wide range of genres; pop and electronic music is favored. I don't have a lot of time to watch movies and read books: I prefer to experience crazy stories in reality when I am traveling, and especially in underdeveloped countries where you can expect the unexpected like in the movies/books!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Climbing from 0 to the 2500 meters of the Roque los Muchachos, the amazing crater-rim on Isla la Palma high above the clouds, just by bicycle. Or sitting on the edge of the Victoria Falls in Southern Africa.
