I am a student studying Finance and International Studies (officially). Unofficially, I am still figuring out what I want to do in the future but trying to enjoy the discovery process. This semester I am studying abroad in Austria, which is fantastic!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am in a dorm and have no couch. So currently, I have only surfed but I hope to host someday. I have also found couch surfing meetings are a great way to find really awesome people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a few times with small groups and once with a group of 12! I've always had great experiences. I love how open other couch surfers are and I've already learned so much from people I've met. I can't wait to do it again.

I will try anything once or even twice. I like most types of music but am a tougher critic when it comes to books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Construction work on a children's camp in Belize.
Ran a 1/2 marathon.
Swam in Alaska.

Random knowledge:
In the Finnish language there is no distinction between the third person pronoun he/she, just one unisex pronoun.

The phrase rule of thumb- comes from a few centuries ago when a law existed that men could not beat their wives with anything thicker than their thumb.
