ABOUT ME

Born in a small town in Southern Bohemia in the Czech Republic called Pisek, but moved to Prague in my early teens. After the Velvet Revolution in 1989 I decided to leave and travel around for a while. I ended up in the States for some time, I then decided to live in South America and learn Spanish; eventually I went back to the States, then Canada, then the States again, and finally back in Canada - it's complicated... Currently working on a PhD in linguistic anthropology at University of British Columbia, living part time in Vancouver and part time in the Yukon.
