Moving to San Francisco in the fall to become a clown.

ABOUT ME

Two years ago, give or take, I accidentally became an actress. Soon after, I left the teaching profession to fulfill my lifelong dream of performing in the circus. Since then I have been traipsing along, ukulele in hand, to find where it is I belong. I'm a clown in my life, and someday soon I hope to be one in my job, too. I'm a funny dancer and a pretty good cook. I sing in the shower no matter who is listening and, if you stay in my house, I will expect you to do the same.

PHILOSOPHY

Whatever you're doing, if you don't feel simultaneously delighted and slightly embarrassed, you should probably find something better to do.

My salmon pink living room in Brattleboro was commonly home to many uncommon folk. Now it is my turn again to be the seed in the wind.

Making art, writing, singing, cycling, dancing, building things, sewing outrageous costumes, being upside-down, being high in the air, being upside-down high in the air, making kids laugh, making grownups laugh, making myself laugh (I'm really good at that).
