Overview
About Me
I am an American living in Xiamen, China while teaching English. I started couchsurfing when I was studying abroad in Lyon, France, and was hooked ever since. I lived in Zeist, Netherlands for a year while I was studying clinical psychology.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet and talk to new people. I love learning about individuals and cultures, and getting to know people one-on-one to experience a piece of their life.
Now when I travel, I am really looking to connect with others, the local culture, and nature.
Interests
I love indoor gardening, psychology, techno, buddhism, traveling, kissing reptiles, long walks, being vegan, intersectional feminism, dancing, hugging dogs, horses, the ocean, sunshine, Studio Ghibli, Legend of Zelda BotW, and braiding hair.
I am happy hiking for days in Bulgarian mountainside in the snow, tanning on the beach on a Greek island, exploring/being a tourist in a new city, going to underground techno raves in Amstersdam, you name it

Teach, Learn, Share
I can braid hair really well, I enjoy listening, and cherish my little network of international friends. I am really talented at walking very long distances and thoroughly enjoying it!
I make great vegan pancakes, chocolate cake, and pierogi.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I want to hear your stories and learn about you! I love talking and learning about everything, social issues, politics, culture, etc. I am not loud, and I enjoy cleaning/organizing. Guaranteed to do your dishes at least twice.
