I'm an independent environment and communications consultant, based in Sydney, building a global business. I do desktop research and provide strategic advice mostly for NGOs working on conservation, sustainable development, science communications, and social issues.

From June to August 2017 I'm travelling and attending conferences and meetings in the US and Colombia. My last stops are Boston and New York City.

My interests are many and varied!

I was raised in the southwest Western Australia, where my family cared for orphaned and injured wildlife, as well as raising myriad cats and dogs. Later I studied biology and worked in environmental policy in different parts of Australia for many years. Naturally, I'm passionate about animals and ecology. I'm insatiably curious about other cultures, landscapes, and history. I've lived and worked in Peru and Java, and spent a lot of time in the US, Canada, and Mexico.

In 2015, for several month, I lived in and cooked for workers on the highest vineyard on Earth, in the Peruvian Andes.

I love to cook—for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike. I'm really good with animals, give an excellent massage, and am a pretty good gardener.
