Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I stumbled upon CouchSurfing years ago and was immediately impressed by its unique benefits. Through this platform, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with locals and experience their cultures from an authentic, insider’s perspective. This has been incredibly enriching, offering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the places I have visited.
Interests
I travel to see architecture buildings. Love arts and designs in general. Music with alcohols plus chatting is a great mix. Enjoy different types of foods.
Like to travel alone. Enjoy the alertness and presence of myself in a foreign land. Occasional friends along the journey is a great blessing.

Music, Movies, and Books
My musical tastes are eclectic, spanning from classical symphonies to modern rock & roll. I have a particular fondness for blues and certain style of jazz. pink Floyd remains a perennial favourite.
As for movies, I have a long list of favourites. Some that immediately come to mind includes fight club, crouching tiger and hidden dragon, and the shawshank redemption.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent three exhilarating days horseback riding through the snow cap mountain of Sichuan China. It was the dead of winter with biting cold temperatures and nights spent in traditional Tibetan tents. The scenery was breathtaking, with crisp, cold air feeling my lungs. Despite having no prior training, I learned to ride and control the horse through a combination of observation, imitation and a little bit of trial and error.
The thrill of the ride reached its peak when the horse finally responded to my cues and burst into a gallop. I felt like I was flying through the air in this breathtaking landscape.
Upon returning to the hotel after three days, I was undeniably ‘horsy’ — a distinct aroma clung to me from the lack of showering. Nonetheless, the experience was truly unforgettable
Teach, Learn, Share
Just by open talk and share about what we passion about will be great fun and learning experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you Chinese or Malay language. I also can share cooking with you.
I’d love to show you around Kuala Lumpur if you are visiting, I can recommend some hidden jams and perhaps even join you for a leisurely heritage walk on the weekend or after work. We can explore the city’s fascinating history and savour some truly delicious local dishes.
