ABOUT ME

I am a guitarist who is endeavoring to travel as much as possible and make music along the way. I work a lot on cruise ships and will spend months at a time exploring new countries while playing music on for the entertainment of passengers. While I'm onland I like to meet with friends from here in the United States.

I've lived all over the United States, and have friends from all over, but I'm always excited to make more!

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy includes the effort to share my own personal perspective of life through performing music. I enjoy learning about myself through experiencing new cultures, environments, and people.

I got a chance to sponsor a couch surfer when I lived in Chicago, and hopefully will get a chance to again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've spent a lot of time staying with friends and even strangers who became friends, but have not used this website before, I'm excited to get started.

Interests

I spent two weeks San Francisco with the brother of a girl I had met in Salida, she and I hadplayed some rehearsals together, after which she gave me her brother's email. I hit him up later when I was in San Francisco, and he and his roommates put me up for two weeks a spare room. I had brought my guitar with me, and I made music with him and his roommate, and even got to play percussion with them in the Carnival parade that was happening there at the time! It was a really great experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a lot of books, including works by Faulkner,
Camus and even Dostoyevsky. I love the Matrix movies, but comedic movies too like Spinal Tap, A Mighty Wind and, The Life Aquatic. I enjoy all kinds of music, from heavy stuff, to classical, I like almost everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 6 months in the Baltic Sea, traveling by ship between Copenhagen, Germany, Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm. I spent the previous summer traveling by ship around ports in Alaska including Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and into Canada to Victoria, Vancouver, and then back to Seattle!
