I'm Michael. I'm originally from Wisconsin, but have now lived in Minneapolis, MN, Madison, WI, Milwaukee, WI, Madrid, Spain, and just finished traveling through Central America the past 5 months. The past several years have been all about living in different places and exploring new cities. I'm not sick of it yet, but I'd love to stay in one spot for a little while now :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to have a more authentic experience while traveling. I love meeting new friends who are locals – it allows me to get out of the tourist mentality and make new friends at the same time.
