Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Read good books, watch good movies, meet great people, see great places
ABOUT ME
I've been described as assertively laid-back, independently dependent, and extrovertly introverted. That's more or less accurate.
I served in the Peace Corps in Kenya for 2 years as a math and science teacher. It was a great experience and offered me the opportunity to travel, meet new people, immerse myself in a totally different culture, and gain a broader perspective.
Bullet points:
I love learning new things. I'm left-handed. I've met Barack Obama and family. I once played the accordion in a polka band. I'm in the Minesweeper Hall of Fame. Unbelievably, I once won a modeling competition. I would not be described as a strong swimmer.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't worry, be happy

White-water rafting on the Nile River in Uganda, participating in a 10km camel derby in Kenya, spending time with mountain gorillas in Rwanda.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've got a background in Math and Geography so I can probably impart some knowledge there.
I love throwing and catching a frisbee and would be more than willing to help improve someone's technique. I've been called Dr. Frisbee because I have a doctorate in Frisbeeology or because I can cure whatever your frisbee ailment is.
My swimming ability is mediocre at best. Anyone who can help me improve in this area would be a miracle worker.
