ABOUT ME

I look at my life as a long-term, slow-motion adventure. I'm always working on projects--writing, composing, cooking, drawing, or constructing--and I'm always thinking about what I'm going to do next. I drink my coffee black, my whiskey straight, and my beer cold. I go on 60-mile bike rides for fun. I appreciate a good croissant for breakfast. I sympathize with artists, free-spirits, and radicals. I am interested in seeing more of the world.

I've hosted people in Boston and San Francisco, attended community meet-ups from time to time, and stayed with some excellent CS hosts in Istanbul, Vienna, the Azores, New Zealand, and a few other places.

Interests

I am interested in: reading, writing, drawing, painting, cooking, baking, bicycling, hiking, traveling, playing and listening to music, playing games (mostly scrabble, hearts, and cribbage), retaining both my sense of childlike wonder and my sarcastic sense of humor, engaging strangers in conversation.
