Overview
About Me
Currently a graduate student whose passion is in biology and engineering. I like learning and I like figuring out how living things work. Not entirely sure where this will lead me in the future, but I like to tell myself that the journey is part of the experience.
I'm extremely excited to meet new people and make some connections, be they lasting or fleeting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to the area and am not settled in yet, so I'm not accepting any couchsurfers yet. However, I'm excited for the chance to meet new people and to provide a temporary place to stay for those who might need it!
Interests
I like nature and photography. Not a very athletic person but willing to trek for a good view. I'm also a big fan of food. Especially street food and desserts.

Music, Movies, and Books
Big fan of Disney and Pixar movies (largely from the nostalgia factor). I tend to prefer action movies and drama - some recent favorites are the Imitation Game, the Grand Budapest Hotel, Inside Out and Big Hero 6.
Haven't read much contemporary literature but looking to read more in the future. Books that I will always have on my shelf are Frankenstein, the Phantom Tollbooth, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Le Petit Prince.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, China, Egypt, France, India, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland, United Kingdom
