So I'm Leslie of Myra & Leslie. We are best friends who became roommates, but alas, Myra has moved on to a new apt with her future hubby. Together we had amazing couch surfing adventures for over a year, and I'm looking forward to having more adventures to come. I do however, have a new roommate who is amazing as well although much more manly than Myra. He's quite useful in reaching items on the top shelf and changing light bulbs. He's never officially done couch surfing, but by the number of his friends that have already surfed our couch, I'd say he's a natural. We are really laid back people who love to have fun and go with the flow.

Some random things about me: I love science and am a geek to the core, I love the LA dodgers (just check out our kitchen), I always try the local beer wherever we travel, I enjoy getting scared and will watch any horror flick (between screaming at scary movies and at the dodger games...our neighbors love me)

Myra still has access to this profile so for our friends who miss her dearly, she's still here and will probably set up her own profile soon...ok, let's be real....her own profile will get set up when i do it for her...but until then...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We just joined in March 2010 and have hosted surfers from Nor Cal, Taiwan, Spain, Germany, and Austria...we've had a blast and have had a great experience being surfers!

Interests

Leslie: pretty well rounded, love all movies especially horror flicks, love reading - classics and mysteries

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Leslie: I've volunteered for 6 summers at a camp for children with congenital heart disease and it is an amazing experience being a part of their life. It gives me renewed perspective about life. I am never more thankful for life then after I spend those 10 days with those campers.

Teach, Learn, Share

Leslie: Teach - understanding America's favorite past time...baseball, specifically the Los Angeles Dodgers. Learn - anything anyone's willing to teach.
