About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the world a better place, no matter how small my contribution might be.
ABOUT ME
I'm an energetic person that puts a lot of passion into what I do. I'm independent, self-motivated, ambitious, and a combination of sociable and nerdy. I know how to be serious, but I also like to joke around. I'm not very materialistic (I essentially wear the same clothes I had in high school¦) and have a strong sense of adventure and love going off the beaten track.
PHILOSOPHY
"A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of history." --Gandhi
“I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions.” --Augusten Burroughs
"Only by living absurdly is it possible to break out of this infinite absurdity." --Julio Cortazar
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to open up my apartment to fellow couchsurfers in Montreal to show them around the city, meet new people and share in on some great stories and food. Right now I'm traveling and hope to use couchsurfers to meet cool people along the way!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just bussed through Central America, couchsurfing along the way. I'm traveling around Europe this summer and would love to do some more couchsurfing. I then plan to host when I'm back living in Montreal in September!
Interests
Since the age of 14, I've tried to spend as much time as possible in Latin America. When I'm not traveling, I like to stay busy and thrive off of social interaction and getting to know new cultures. I'm also really passionate about public health, social justice and development and I've started to focus my studies and work on indigenous health issues, as it combines so many of these interests. I always love trying new things and reaching outside of my comfort zone. I also love to stay active and do things outdoors (I run and/or do yoga almost everyday). I'm also majorly into food and almost unhealthily obsessed with dancing to merengue/reggaeton.
